BREAKING: Jan. 6th correctional facility REFUSES to allow Republican Congress Members to see facility, accuses them of TRESPASSING

A small group of Republican members of Congress, including Reps. Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Paul Gosar, went to the correctional facility in DC that houses the January 6th prisoners and asked to visit the facility. They did this because they’ve been stonewalled by this administration thus far on getting any information about the facility.

According to Louie Gohmert, they showed their IDs and were eventually told they’d need to wear masks, which they readily complied with. After a a few minutes, a woman came out and told them her supervisor says they were trespassing. They argued that as members of Congress they have oversight and should be able to at least tour the facility, but to no avail. When they asked to speak to the woman’s supervisor, they were told to wait.

Eventually the same woman walked out of the building and Gohmert was told she was the supervisor. They followed her outside, only for her to circle back into the building and lock the doors, according to Gohmert.
