This was the substantial criticism from the Krauthammer segment that came after this interview, that Perry, on the day his plan launched, couldn’t say whether or not his plan will generate the same, more, or less in revenue given the substantial debt load. That said, I’m sure he will come up with a number soon as he suggested to BillO.
Otherwise it was a pretty good interview. BillO hit him on the immigration issue with regard to how he handled it in the debates, and also hit him on the apparent unfriendliness between he and Romney. On the latter, Perry criticized Romney by asking how someone changes their positions on issues at age 50, insinuating that Romney is just a flip flopper for political expedience. He even quoted Romney saying “I need to say whatever I need to say for whatever office I’m running for”.
