Hmm. Is bombing stuff… GOOD?? Before you say “obviously not” consider that New Yorker and New York Times are NOT so SURE

To bomb stuff, or not to bomb it. That is the question. Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the driving and living of outrageous regular people, or to take Arms against a pipeline of oil, and by opposing, be super impressive to eco-chicks.

Silly? Not as far as Our Betters at the institutions of Media Elite world are concerned. They are very seriously “just asking questions” about whether, in the fight against global whatevering, it’s jes fine to blow up a few things. You know, in your spare time.

Yeah it’s not metaphor or a thought exercise. They had on an actual eco terrorist to make his case that blowing things up is okay.

It’s not just this podcast though.

Newsmax gives some more explanation.

Environmental activist and professor Andreas Malm during an appearance on The New Yorker’s podcast called for “intelligent sabotage” of things contributing to climate change.

In the episode titled “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” published Friday, Malm says, “if people in that region were to attack the construction equipment or blow up the pipeline before it’s completed, I would be all in favor of that. I don’t see how that property damage could be considered morally illegitimate given what we know of the consequence of such projects.”

Malm, a professor from Lund University in Sweden, at one point mentioned that “a call for escalation, a call for the movement to diversify its tactics and move away from an exclusive focus on polite, gentle and perfectly peaceful civil disobedience” should be emphasized in the environmentalism movement.

This is the thing:

But remember, WE’RE the crazies. They should totally whip us with horse reins.

WHAT? THAT’S NOT REAL EITHER? NO WAY!

All is acceptable in the cause. All is permissible. That’s the cardinal rule of leftism. And leftism controls the media, and so it’s true for them, too.

We are living in December 1983 and New Year’s Eve is getting awful close.
