NEW: Biden admin CANCELS border wall contracts, demands congress cease ALL barrier funding

Joe Biden’s DHS, along with the CBP, are cancelling all “remaining border barrier contracts located within U.S. Border Patrol’s (USBP) Laredo Sector and all border barrier contracts located in the Rio Grande Valley sector.” And Biden is “calling on Congress” to stop ALL border construction PERIOD.

It goes on to blah blah about studying environmental impact doing “outreach” to stakeholders and “tribes” and then says “these activities will not involve any construction of new border barrier or permanent land acquisition.”

“The Administration continues to call on Congress cancel remaining border wall funding and instead fund smarter border security measures,” Biden’s DHS says in the statement.

This is overt. “Environmental impact studies” are the thinnest of veils any time gov’t wants to delay anything, be it commerce or national security. And “smarter” border security is the same fig leaf every Democrat uses to avoid actual enforcement.

This is Biden’s attempt at a fix for his self-created border crisis: open the border EVEN MORE.

With no barriers, and no barrier CONSTRUCTION going on, all the easier for crossing away from the cameras. The illegals are happy, and CNN will be MORE than happy to report “dwindling” numbers at the crisis areas currently overflowing with refugees.
