Maxar has released satellite images that show Russia continuing to build up it’s forces around Ukraine in Belarus, Western Russia and Crimea.
Jennifer Griffin writes “Satellite images show Russian forces moving closer to forward military positions. No sign that Putin is withdrawing his forces. Western official with years of national security experience in the region tells me, “I have never been more concerned in my career.””
I would also add that an administration official is reported to have said that just today, Russia added 7,000 troops to the border of Ukraine:
A senior administration official told reporters Russia's claim it was withdrawing troops from the border with Ukraine is "false". They have, in fact, added 7,000 troops with some arriving as recently as today, the official said.
