The Justice Department is being used the same way the House committee is – as a political retribution tool. This is a Purge, in the tradition of historic purges, of anyone who was with Trump. And frankly it has only just begun.
Steve Bannon’s unconstitutional conviction is bad enough on its own merits, but when Tulsi Gabbard lays out the names of the Democrats who get away with the actual act of lying under oath and being caught – not merely asserting privilege as Bannon did – it is so obvious and plain that Ted Cruz could only cheer her.
