“Guess it’s okay to report on this now”: CNN authenticates even MORE Hunter Biden laptop data, but it’s a PLOY…

Never ever forget that Twitter banned an American mainstream newspaper for tweeting their investigative journalism on the Hunter Biden laptop, and almost the entire rest of the blue check mainstream media cheered that. Never forget that all the media INCLUDING the dolts at CNN called it Russian disinfo.

Also never forget what CNN does every day.

Because where we are now is some of the most hard-spun political spin ever. Here’s the most important fact: even fake reporting this proves the authenticity of the laptop and the data on it.

The article is amazing. They call his drugged up, crime committing lifestyle “lavish” and frame the whole thing as a tax issue and nothing more.

In fact they attack Republicans over it: “Hunter Biden’s legal jeopardy has been leveraged by Republicans seeking to accuse his father, President Joe Biden, of being complicit in his alleged wrongdoing.”

They write “welcome to the dysfunctional world of Hunter Biden’s finances,” to set the tone. And that’s quite a mild tone. Dysfunctional? That’s barely a criticism, much less an exposé. They describe the story as being about his “finances” three separate times.

The article ends with a fawning mention of his book and his desire to make “amends.”

It’s devious. They get to pretend they aren’t quashing the story while still quashing THE MAIN PART OF THE STORY.

CNN hired a cyber forensics expert to help authenticate a cache of emails related to Hunter Biden’s finances that were posted on the internet by a former Trump White House aide and allegedly traced back to a laptop that turned up at a Delaware repair shop.

Gee could you cast even more doubt on your own story, CNN?

Oh. Yes, they can.

Information from the laptop has fueled countless stories about Biden’s drug abuse, alleged sexual indiscretions and money trouble, many of which CNN — and other media outlets — have not been able to verify. Biden has not directly commented on the authenticity of the emails or the stories upon which they are based. He told CBS News last year he did not know if that laptop was his.

This is the best part: “Jake Williams, a former National Security Agency operative, who analyzed the emails for CNN, said he was able to authenticate a subset of the emails because they contained verified signatures within their metadata that showed they had not been modified. Only emails he authenticated are cited in this report.:

HA HA. “Subset.” Their theory is that Hunter Biden’s laptop is real AND the emails they have from it are real BUT somehow other emails from and to him on the same laptop IN THE SAME EMAIL PROGRAM are suspect??

Amazing.

Yet even that spin was unthinkable just a few months ago. Here’s a reminder of how the administration responded and the media to their response. Biden treated it like a conspiracy theory, like guilty people always do when caught, and the media swallowed that whole and repeated it, because they didn’t want to be seen as icky conspiracy right wing anti-Biden people. You know, they didn’t want people to think they were journalists instead of partisans.

But NOW they are talking about it. Sort of. Mildly. Without being Twitter banned.

This whole article is a ploy. They are using the old tactic of confessing to a lesser crime to hide a bigger one. Their own lesser crime and Hunter’s.

It’s total spin and next-level pro-Biden propaganda, but the libs, by the way, are crying about it anyway. Of course.
