I’ve always been a Norah Jones fan, but this a capella version of America the Beautiful was just stunning, especially with the echo of the hall. She sang it at the Congressional Gold Medal ceremony for astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and John Glenn.
The only bad thing about it is Harry Reid’s big head showing in the video. But if you’re like me, you’ll probably just close your eyes and enjoy the moment:
