Ted Budd has just been projected to win the US Senate seat in North Carolina.
He handily beat his Democrat opponent, Cheri Beasley, by about 4 points.
Budd was endorsed heavily by President Trump.

Budd is replacing retiring US Senator Richard Burr.
So this seat is not a flip. It’s a hold.
