Asked on Thursday about Donald Trump and the midterms, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said that the devastating midterm results don’t highlight a division within the GOP necessarily. BUT… they do demonstrate that the Florida GOP, his party and state, are Republicans who know how to win majorities — unlike elsewhere in the country.
The clear subtext is that he can win in places and in demographics were SOME OTHER PERSON OR PERSONS who aren’t named have shown they simply can’t.
AHEM.
