This is a breaking story and will be updated with more video. The short version is, Kevin McCarthy did NOT have the votes, some kind of SCUFFLE or maybe war of insults broke out when McCarthy went to Gaetz to do some last minute cajoling, and they are voting now on whether to ADJOURN.

Fourteenth? Not a go.
McCarthy said earlier Friday he had the votes. But looks like that is not the case.
