Yesterday we told you about another attack on Governor DeSantis from Trump, in which he called DeSantis a RINO and said he’s trying to hide his past.
This morning DeSantis was on Fox and Friends and he was asked about recent attacks from Trump and a number of other Republicans.
Here’s how DeSantis responded:
Fla. @GovRonDeSantis on Republicans like @GovLarryHogan, @govkristinoem, @realDonaldTrump, @GovChrisSununu attacking him:
"If people are not firing at me, I must not be doing my job. So I view it really as positive feedback." pic.twitter.com/1J6FkhEbGm

“If people are not firing at me, I must not be doing my job. So I view it really as positive feedback.”
Once again DeSantis refuses to fire back at those attacking him. Ever wonder why that is?
A quote from DeSantis in DC Examiner explains why:
#EXCLUSIVE: “I want other Republicans to do well. I don’t want any Republican to do poorly, so I’m not in a situation where taking potshots against other Republicans is something that I think is beneficial," @GovRonDeSantis told Salena Zito. https://t.co/H8WZK5bCRe

“I want other Republicans to do well. I don’t want any Republican to do poorly, so I’m not in a situation where taking potshots against other Republicans is something that I think is beneficial.”
Clearly other Republicans like Trump don’t want him to do well, at least not in a 2024 run for president. But DeSantis takes a different tactic and refuses to hit back or throw insults. What a classy response.
