WATCH: Speaker Kevin McCarthy DEFENDS his decision to give Tucker Carlson the J6 footage

In front of a gaggle of reporters tonight, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy defended his decision to give Tucker Carlson the January 6th footage.

When asked about Carlson’s portrayal of the day, McCarthy wasn’t concerned about at all.

In fact he turned it around on CNN reporter Manu Raju, telling him that CNN reported on a sensitive place where House members were located. McCarthy said that he doubts they can ever use that location again since CNN blabbed about it.

I’m glad McCarthy isn’t expressing any regret or acting like McConnell.

He should stand his ground because he’s done nothing wrong.
