Rep. Sylvia Garcia from Texas proved that she is both an idiot and despicable, all in the short time she had to ask questions today of both Matt Taibi and Michael Shellenberger.
First, we’ll start with Shellenberger:

Earlier in the hearing Shellenberger said he was brought into the Twitter Files by his friend Bari Weiss. If you’ve paid any attention at all to the Twitter Files you know who Bari Weiss is…or maybe you would know if you prepared for a hearing on the topic.
But Garcia clearly didn’t prepare well or pay any attention to the Twitter Files because she has no clue who Bari Weiss is and then asks this stupidly worded question when she finds out Weiss is a journalist:
“So you’re in this as a threesome?”
Shelleberger couldn’t help but laugh at such a question, but did say there were many more people involved than just the three of them.
Okay that was the funny part and this second part is not funny at all. This is where Garcia questions Matt Taibi and harasses him to give up his sources for the Twitter Files. And it’s a clip she posted herself on Twitter:

Why would she be asking such a line of questions. I guess it’s okay for jouranlists to keep their sources hidden unless it’s someone who has exposed the misdeeds of the left, and then it’s open season on trying to get them to reveal their sources.
