The wife of Steve Deace tweeted a few minutes ago from his Twitter account expressing very serious concern for his health and asking for prayers for him.
Amy Deace said her husband has some kind of infection and that it’s getting worse. She didn’t say what kind of infection, but apparently it’s pretty bad:
This is Amy. We’re in the emergency room and Steve is not doing well. He tried to do the show today with this infection, but it’s getting worse. We’d appreciate your prayers.

I’ve searched for more information on his condition but so far there isn’t any. It must be pretty dire for her to ask Deace’s Twitter followers to pray for him.
I’ll let you know if I hear any more on his condition and hopefully it will be good news.
UPDATE: Amy Deace saw our post and has already replied to it with an update. She says his condition isn’t life threatening but needs to be treated soon.
Guys this is Amy. It is not life threatening. But it needs to be treated sooner rather than later. I will post updates as I have them. Right now we’re still waiting to see a doctor.
