We told you yesterday about an FDA conflict on the drug mifepristone between the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and a Washington State federal judge’s ruling.
Well now we’ve learned that the Supreme Court is going to step in to resolve the conflict:
Justice Samuel Alito has put lower court rulings restricting access to abortion pill mifepristone on hold until Wednesday night, instructs challengers to file their brief by noon on Tuesday.

Per Amy Howe, part of the SCOTUS Blog team, the Supreme Court is putting all lower court decisions on hold for now, to give both sides a chance to submit their arguments to the court. The stay is only in effect until Wednesday.
This means that, at least for the next few days, the baby-killing drug will be back in circulation unrestricted.
Below is the order from Justice Alito:
As expected, Justice Alito has temporarily reinstated use of mifepristone in the abortion pill litigation. Has asked for a response by April 18. pic.twitter.com/ZcbCsUmtPm
