The Federalist has gotten their hands on the 306 page report by John Durham on the beginning of the phony investigation into the Trump campaign for colluding with Russia.
Sean Davis reveals that Durham found that the FBI had NO actual evidence of collusion before they began the Crossfire Hurricane investigation:
BREAKING: Special prosecutor John Durham concluded that “neither U.S. nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”
— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) May 15, 2023
Davis adds: “FBI records prepared by [Peter] Strzok in February and March 2017 show that at the time of the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI had no information in its holdings indicating that at any time during the campaign anyone in the Trump campaign had been in contact with any Russian intelligence officials.”
He further writes: “According to the 306-page Durham report, the Obama FBI tried and failed to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on George Papadopoulos.”
I guess a lengthy report is all we are going to get from Durham at this point, considering his attempts at prosecutions failed. And honestly, while it has been a long time coming, I don’t think most people care at this point because it has been a very long time. We’re talking four years since the investigation began and nothing really to show for it.
We already know it was bogus and while it’s nice to have the results of his investigation, it doesn’t mean that much at this point in 2023.
UPDATE: Here’s more on the Durham report:
The FBI and DOJ restricted two investigations into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election:
1) The Clinton Foundation investigation
2) Illegal foreign contributions to the Clinton Campaign
"No investigative activities occurred for months"

According to an FBI CHS in early 2016, the Clinton Campaign was "fully aware" of and "ok with" a foreign contribution in violation of federal law.
The FBI agent didn't get receipts – and asked the source to stay away from the Clinton campaign.

The Carter Page FISA was submitted under intense pressure from the FBI leadership.
FBI Director James Comey, in particulary, wanted the Carter Page FISA – badly.

The FBI paid Steele primary subsource Igor Danchenko a total of $220K.
The FBI – after it learned Danchenko lied to them, and during the Durham investigation – proposed future payments of $300K.
Payments that would have kept Danchenko under wraps. pic.twitter.com/lydAj8ziPq
