The Republican House voted and passed the National Defense Authorization Act this morning by a vote of 219-210.
BREAKING: The House passed the NDAA 219-210.
Four Republicans voted against the defense bill. Four Dems supported it.— Connor O’Brien (@connorobrienNH) July 14, 2023
Here’s the names of the four Republicans who voted against it:
- Thomas Massie – Kentucky
- Andy Biggs – Arizona
- Elijah Crane – Arizona
- Ken Buck – Colorado
It got four Democratic votes but that doesn’t bode well for it passing the Senate as it is today. The Senate already has and will pass their own version, which means both chambers will have to conference to work out a compromise that both will pass. So this is far from over.
