Trump attorney Alina Habba was asked by a reporter today about the question of several aides telling Trump that he’d lost the 2020 election.
Here’s how that went:

She’s exactly right. Just because someone like Jason Miller may have told Trump that he lost the election doesn’t mean that Trump believed him. Even if Trump believed him in that very moment, that also doesn’t mean he didn’t change his mind when he thought about it more or saw other questionable activity.
Unless Jack Smith has audio evidence of Trump saying he knew he lost the election but he was going to tell the American people it was stolen, then he’s got nothing.
