Every time the number increases. According to Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, a few of these votes are from members who just don’t believe Jordan has a path to victory.
This morning Jordan made clear that he’s going to keep members here as votes will be happening all weekend and next week. I believe this is the ‘wear them down’ strategy. But honestly, it doesn’t look like it’s going to work. And Democrats are prepared to keep their members here in order to ensure Jordan needs 217 votes…or thereabouts.
According to reports, Republicans will meet behind closed doors again at 1PM.
