It was revealed overnight that following attacks from the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen, Israel is deploying corvette style ships for air defense.
According to reports, Israel’s navy is deploying Sa’ar 5-class corvettes to the Red Sea for added protection against missiles and drones coming Yemen:

Israel was able to shoot down everything so far, but of course they know that it’s entirely possible that a coordinated attack may try to overwhelm it just like Hamas does with the Iron Dome. So it’s always good to take precautions like this when you’re surrounded by enemies on all sides.
