Eight US troops were injured last night after Iranian proxy forces fired a short range ballistic missile at the al-Asad US airbase in Iraq.
The US responded with an airstrike from a Lockheed AC-130 gunship.

It’s been reported that our retaliatory airstrike only killed ‘several’ who attacked US troops:
BREAKING: A U.S. AC-130 gunship carried out an airstrike on a vehicle in the proximity of al-Asad airbase in Iraq, killing several Iran affiliated militants a U.S. defense official told Fox News. The vehicle carried out an attack on al-Asad in the last 24 hours, the official said

This airstrike was an immediate response to the attack the vehicle carried out on al-Asad airbase, differing from the three prior U.S. airstrikes in Syria. The militants were likely part of Kata'ib Hizballah (KH) an Iranian Proxy group, but the assessment is still ongoing.

If that was only our immediate response, I hope we hit back hard with a more planned airstrike on these Iranian proxy groups. At this point, after over 60 attacks on our troops, it’s past time to bomb the hell out of these groups until they are no more.
