Late last night Trump attacked Chip Roy in a message on Trump Social, calling him a RINO and asking for anyone interested in challenging Roy to let him know because Roy “is very beatable”.
Thomas Massie tweeted this morning that he stands with Roy and that “this shortsighted effort to intimidate Chip will not work.”

Chip Roy is no RINO. But what is true is that Trump is like a woman scorned. He hates it when someone not only doesn’t support him, but even more so when they support his political enemy. I would say ‘political competitor’, but Trump doesn’t treat DeSantis like a competitor.
The funny thing about this is that according to one person on X, the filing deadline has passed and Chip Roy is running unopposed in his district.
