BREAKING: Schumer, McConnell Senate ‘border bill’ dies a quick death in the Senate with only four Republican votes

The so-called ‘border bill’ in the Senate, which also funded Ukraine and Israel, died a quick death in the Senate today after it couldn’t get enough votes to advance to a floor vote. Nearly all Republicans voted against it.

The bill only got 48 votes when it needed 60, and that included four RINO votes from Murkowski, Lankford, Collins, and Romney.

Here’s the news:

The four Republican votes for the bill were offset by four Democrat votes against the bill from Menendez, Padilla, Sanders, and Warren.

The bill deserved to die and the fact that Murkowski, Collins and Romney joined Lankford just shows how terrible they are as Republicans.

Even though the bill is dead, it accomplished its primary mission to give Joe Biden an excuse on the border during election season. Thanks to Mitch McConnell.
