Ilhan “some people did something” Omar got Memorial Day completely wrong in a tweet she posted earlier today.
Omar tweeted “On Memorial Day we honor the heroic men and women who served our country. We owe them more than our gratitude – they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and they benefits they were promised.”

The tweet is real, however Omar has since deleted it after getting mocked for not realizing this wasn’t Veterans Day.
