Congressman Thomas Massie highlights the absurdity of Trump’s conviction by putting it in an interesting context.
Massie pointed out how Congressmen get away with using our taxpayer dollars for their own hush money issues while Trump used his own money:
🚨Congressmen paid $17 million of TAXPAYER MONEY for undisclosed hush payments to cover up sexual harassment claims.
Meanwhile candidate Trump allegedly used HIS MONEY for a $130,000 hush payment and he’s convicted of 34 felonies for not disclosing.https://t.co/DZw3hYyuXH pic.twitter.com/s3odKj1CmW

Another interesting point that was made this morning was from Kyle Smith, demonstrating that Bragg did indeed campaign on going after Trump:
For those who deny Alvin Bragg "campaigned on a promise to prosecute Donald Trump," there is a long PolitiFact piece on it. Sure sounds like he did! pic.twitter.com/3WQsX6eJxH

Trump will hold a press conference at 11AM and I will post a live stream of that shortly.
