Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle got cornered by Senators Marsha Blackburn and John Barrasso at the RNC tonight. Both Blackburn and Barrasso demanded answers as to why Trump was allowed to go on stage when the Secret Service had already identified a suspicious person at the rally.

Barrasso told her, to her face, that he wanted her to resign or answer their questions. They were both angry that only four questions were allowed in the briefing they got today.

Cheatle refused to answer their questions, suggesting this wasn’t the place to do it. Barrasso said that they could find a place, but Cheatle refused and left.

Both Barrasso and Blackburn followed Cheatle out, demanding answers the whole way.
