Both President Trump’s DHS Secretary nominee Kristi Noem and OMB director nominee Russ Vought have been voted out of the Senate Homeland Security committee today and Noem’s nomination is headed to the floor of the Senate for final approval.
According to Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, Noem’s vote was nearly unanimous at 13-2.
Russ Vought made it out of committee along party lines with a vote of 8-7.
