The Senate just overwhelmingly voted to advance Scott Bessent’s nomination for Secretary of Treasury, breaking the filibuster by a vote of 67-23:

By a vote of 67-23, the #Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Scott Bessent to be Secretary of the Treasury .

This confirms that Bessent is shoo-in and, according to Chad Pergram, his confirmation will likely happen on Monday.
