The Senate Intelligence Committee just voted to advance Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for Director of National Intelligence.
Chad Pergram reports the vote was 9-8, along party lines, and now her nomination will head to the Senate floor.

At this point it seems highly likely that Tulsi will be the next DNI. I don’t know exactly when a floor cloture vote will be held, but hopefully it won’t be long.
UPDATE: Chad Pergram said on Fox that the floor vote would likely come next week.
