General Jack Keane was just on Fox News and was asked about President Trump getting a peace agreement with Putin over Ukraine, and his answer was very interesting.
Keane believes Trump can get a peace agreement with Putin for now, but says that Putin doesn’t really want peace and will just wait out Trump’s presidency and then attack Ukraine after he’s gone in order to topple the government and take control of the country.
Keane adds that Putin’s attempt to take Ukraine has been a strategic failure and that everything is on the line for him, both as President and in his personal life.
Keane argues that what NATO should do is, once there’s a peace agreement in place, to create an air force in Ukraine that will help deter Putin from attacking them again.
