The United Kingdom’s Keir Starmer announced today that Europe will have to do the heavy lifting when it comes to a peace deal with Ukraine and Russia, saying that they will keep the military aid flowing into Ukraine to keep the economic pressure on Russia.
He also said that he is developing a ‘coalition of the willing’ in order to create a plan to defend a peace deal with Ukraine, adding that “The UK is prepared to back this, with boots on the ground and planes in the air together with others.”
Starmer added “Let me be clear, we agree with [President Trump] on the urgent need for a durable peace. Now we need to deliver together.”
