Last night’s CNN panel was vehemently against any idea of a military parade, claiming it was not only wasteful but about feeding Trump’s ego.
Scott Jennings has a different perspective, asking the panel why the hate the military and suggesting it has more to do with morale and recruitment:
As long as a military parade is done tastefully and is about the men and women of our armed forces, I think it’s a wonderful thing to celebrate.
But I think the biggest thing that affects recruitment and morale is having a commander-in-chief who isn’t weak, takes threats seriously and does something about them. A military parade is more like icing on the cake.
