BREAKING REPORT: James Comey interviewed by Secret Service over assassination threat

James Comey has been interviewed by the Secret Service today in Washington, DC about the assassination threat he posted in Instagram. He was reportedly not arrested.

Here’s what we know, which isn’t much:

Per multiple sources familiar to colleague @davidspunt & myself, former FBI Director James Comey met with the U.S. Secret Service in DC this afternoon, where he was interviewed about his now deleted “8647” seashell post. He was not arrested, it was a standard interview where he was given a chance to explain himself. No details yet on what he said.
