Duck Dynasty and Robertson family patriarch Phil Robertson has gone to be with the Lord today, according to his son Jase Robertson. He was 79 years old.
According to TMZ, Phil had been suffering from a blood disease and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in December.
Here’s what both Jase and Korie wrote, respectively:
My dad has gone to be with the Lord today! He will be missed but we know he is in good hands, and our family is good because God is very good! We will see him again! #PhilRobertson #Jesus

Phil was a wonderful Christian man and quite the entertainer, and he will be sorely missed.
May he rest in the peace of God forever.
