A Fresno police officer saved a woman who had been taken hostage by another woman with a knife. The officer kept warning the woman to put the knife down and she refused.
He waited for the right moment and took down the suspect.

39-year-old Joanna Lopez was filmed holding a woman hostage with a knife to her neck.
The officer was seen strategically waiting to line up his shot before firing and k*lling Lopez.
The officer who made the shot is on paid administrative leave while the incident is under investigation.
This officer is not just a hero, but a great shot too! I hope he’s awarded for his courage.
