It’s being reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei tried to get Hezbollah’s help in their war with Israel, but Hezbollah refused, fearing major strikes from Israel.

Ali Khamenei has instructed Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem to join the fighting and launch missiles at Israel.
Qassem is refusing to engage, fearing that the IDF will destroy Hezbollah in response.

It’s also been reported that Khamenei is appointing successors so that if he’s assassinated, his Iran will still go on. However, I suspect that if he dies, the people may well revolt. And I hope they do.
