A federal judge in DC just ordered that President Trump reopen the souther border, claiming his executive order banning asylum is unlawful.

A Trump Day One EO invoked the travel ban authority—INA 212(f)—and the Constitution to declare that an "invasion" was happening and that all migrants must be turned away without being permitted to seek asylum under the laws.

This judge, as you might have guessed, is an Obama-appointee. You can bet this will be quickly appealed and overturned.
