Elon Musk is angry about the Big Beautiful Bill and he’s forming a new ‘America Party’ after doing a poll on X, saying that this is what the people want:
By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!

Democrats must love this because they are the ones who will benefit the most from this new party. The problem is that this new America Party, assuming he tries to get it on the ballot in each state, will only get the disaffected voters from the Republican Party. Democrats hate him after DOGE, so most of them won’t be joining. In other words, he’s going to split the Republican Party, which would guarantee Democrat wins in the future.
I get that problem with out-of-control spending, that’s something we totally agree on. I want a more fiscally responsible government too. But to split the Republican Party when it has the most momentum it’s ever had, well that is a dumbass idea, pardon the French. It’s almost like Elon didn’t get his way, so he’s lashing out in as destructive a way possible.
