US Senate passes Trump rescissions bill

In the overnight hours, Republicans in the US Senate managed to pass the rescissions package sent down from President Trump, which cuts funding to NPR and PBS among other things, and they did it by a vote of 51-48:

The Republicans who voted against the bill were predictably Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. McConnell, who initially voted against cloture on the bill, did vote for it on final passage. Thus JD Vance was no needed to get the bill passed.
