State Senate Democrats walkout to try and break quorum over passage of the Texas redistricting map, but math is clearly not their strong suit because they failed and the map passed.

Meanwhile, in the Senate, @JudithZaffirini spoke against the bill. Bill passed 19-2

So that walkout was apparently all for show and they weren’t needed anyway, because two Democrats stayed so that quorum was met. The walkout Dems held their press conference, and now their failed hopes lie with House Democrats, who will ultimately fail also.
