In somewhat of a shocker, the New York Yankees honored Charlie Kirk tonight after he was assassinated today at Utah Valley University. They actually had a moment of silence for him.
Here’s what they wrote on X:
Before tonight's game we held a moment of silence in memoriam of Charlie Kirk.
Kirk founded the youth activist group “Turning Point USA” and had become a fixture on college campuses. Charlie Kirk, a husband and father of two children, was 31 years old. pic.twitter.com/Fz5xPlmdu0

Since when does a conservative get this kind of recognition, even in memoriam? This is why I was shocked, but so happy to see this. Kudos to the Yanks for respecting Kirk so much.
