Transportation Sean Duffy just announced this morning that he’s issuing enforcement action against the state of California for issuing a huge percentage of all CDLs illegally.
He’s also creating an emergency rule that forces stricter standards on all non-domiciled CDLs.
Here’s what he said:
I looked up more detail on this enforcement action, and it will require California to pause issuance of all CDLs to people who are neither residents of California or the US (non-domiciled). They will also have to go back and revoke the CDLs that weren’t issued legally.
