Well that didn’t take long. Hamas is now in violation of Trump’s peace agreement, which they signed, because they have not and are not returning the bodies of the hostages they killed. They have only returned four so far and there are still 24 additional bodies that must be returned.
An Israeli security source tells Saudi Al-Hadath: “We do not sense any motivation from Hamas to release the bodies of additional hostages today. The release of only four deceased hostages is a blatant violation of the agreement.”

It’s being reported now that all the humanitarian aid that is being sent into Gaza via the Rafah border will be stopped by Israel until Hamas returns the hostages:
BREAKING: Israel has decided that the Rafah border crossing will not open tomorrow and will remain closed until Hamas returns all the bodies of the hostages. The entry of aid into Gaza will also be significantly reduced until the crisis is resolved. https://t.co/QfKhXZIUpW

Marina Medvin write:
Hamas was supposed to turn over 48 hostages yesterday. They turned over 20 live men and 4 bodies. That’s exactly half of the hostages they are holding.
There are still 24 bodies of hostages slaughtered in captivity that need to be returned under phase 1 of the agreement. One is an American and one is a woman. Hamas is in breach of the agreement. Hamas leaders are also on Arabic TV saying they won’t be disarming like they’re supposed to under the terms of the next phase.
They’re already in breach and are expressing intentions of not following through with the agreement. Why aren’t we talking about this?
The absolute most important component of the deal was getting the live hostages back. And that was accomplished. But it doesn’t mean there will be peace or the war will automatically end. The terms of the agreement need to be followed.
Not only that, but Hamas is apparently refusing to give up their weapons:
This is a problem with Phase II. As I keep asking, what’s going to happen to Hamas? The Arab and Muslim countries are to disarm them and demilitarize Gaza. Hamas is not being disarmed or demilitarized. And they’re not going to on their own. https://t.co/cqR5SASlSG

This war isn’t over by a long shot. Yes, getting back the living hostages was absolutely worth the peace agreement and a massive accomplishment by President Trump. But if Hamas refuses to return the dead hostages in order to keep a bargaining chip on the board, then Israel will begin unleashing on Hamas at some point soon and Netanyahu should have Trump’s blessing to do so.
