Speaker Johnson this morning made it a point to talk about Hakeem Jeffries endorsing Communist Mamdani for mayor in New York City and what it says about the Democrat Party.

He’s not wrong, and it is a big deal that Jeffries endorsed him. There are two other out-right Marxists running for mayor around the country. They are taking over the policy.
But on the other hand, Jeffries waited until nearly the last minute to endorse Mamdani, which tells me he’s very interested in trying to pick the ‘winner’ based on polling.
