A “barbaric criminal illegal” was just captured by ICE after Joe Biden released her into the country in 2022. Sure, she doesn’t look like your typical criminal illegal, but what she’s running from in Moldova was a 17-year prison sentence for her horrific crimes.

ICE Los Angeles has arrested a Moldovan fugitive illegal alien convicted in her home country of premeditated murder w/ exceptional cruelty after she tortured and threw her victim out a 9th story window, DHS tells @FoxNews. Victoria Sorocean fled to the U.S. to avoid a 17 year prison sentence and was arrested by ICE during the first Trump administration in January 2020.
Per DHS, after her 2020 ICE arrest, she used various “legal tactics” to avoid deportation, including filing multiple appeals, before ultimately being released into the U.S. during the Biden administration in 2022.
She is now back in federal custody after being arrested by ICE in Los Angeles last week.
DHS sent this statement to Fox News:
Of course she was living in a sanctuary city. If I were guilty of her crimes, I’d flee there too. Except, thanks to Trump, she’ll now pay for her crimes.
