President Trump just officially canceled the ‘pardons’, among other things, which were signed by Joe Biden’s Autopen.
Adam Schiff just got nervous…
Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized “AUTOPEN,” within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect. Anyone receiving “Pardons,” “Commutations,” or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Of course this will be challenged in court, and it will likely go all the way to the Supreme Court, one way or the other. This is more than likely what Trump has in mind here, to get an official ruling on the reckless use of the autopen.
Honestly though, these pardons for Schiff and company, even if signed by Joe Biden’s withering hand, were ‘preemptive’ pardons, which means there was no actual conviction of any crime as the basis of these pardons. That means, I think, they wouldn’t stand up in court if they were challenged. I don’t know why the DOJ hasn’t gone that route to begin with.
