BREAKING: Some lunatic tried to break into the Ohio home of VP JD Vance

A lunatic tried to break into the Ohio home of Vice President JD Vance by using a hammer to break the windows. Thankfully, no one was home. Vance says both the Secret Service and Cincinnati police responded quickly.

Here’s what he wrote:

I appreciate everyone’s well wishes about the attack at our home. As far as I can tell, a crazy person tried to break in by hammering the windows. I’m grateful to the secret service and the Cincinnati police for responding quickly.

We weren’t even home as we had returned already to DC.

One request to the media: we try to protect our kids as much as possible from the realities of this life of public service. In that light, I am skeptical of the news value of plastering images of our home with holes in the windows.

Below is the nutjob who was arrested, 26-year-old William DeFoor, who is being charged with “one count each of obstructing official business, criminal damaging or endangering, criminal trespass and vandalism,” according to court records:

According to Cincinnati news radio, “The Hyde Park man pleaded guilty to another case of breaking windows last year and was ordered to undergo medical treatment.”
