Hilton Hotels issued another statement saying they’ve contacted the independently owned and operated Hilton hotel in Minneapolis and has rectified the situation, forcing the hotel to abide by their policies.
The company, called Everpeak Hospitality, is said to be now reversing their earlier decision to allow service to federal immigration officers.
Here’s the statement from Bill Melugin:

But DHS Tricia McLaughlin says Everpeak has not contacted either DHS or ICE:
I wonder how Everpeak Hospitality has “moved swiftly to address this matter” when @DHSgov and @ICEgov haven’t heard anything from them?

Haven’t heard any new word on this, but it does sound like this is moving in the right direction, and I hope Hilton and Everpeak are doing what they say they are doing. And I hope they fire whoever started this madness with the denials of service.
