BREAKING: ICE agents fire shots after Venezuelan gang-bangers try to run them over

ICE agents fired shots at essentially two suspected Venezuelan gang-bangers after they tried to run them over during a targeted vehicle stop. This happened in Portland, Oregon.

DHS just released this statement explaining what happened:

At 2:19 PST, US Border Patrol agents were conducting a targeted vehicle stop in Portland, Oregon. The passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transnational Tren de Aragua prostitution ring and involved in a recent shooting in Portland. The vehicle driver is believed to be a member of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents.

Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired a defensive shot. The driver drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene.

This situation is evolving and more information is forthcoming.

 
According to Andy Ngo, the gang-banger couple drove somewhere and call the police. Apparently the male gang-banger was shot, so they called EMS and they were taken to the hospital:

Around 2:18 p.m., Portland Police were alerted to a call by a man who said he was shot. The man drove from a medical center parking lot, where the shooting occurred, to 146th and East Burnside. Police responded and called for first responders, who took the two injured to a hospital.

He then points out that the despicable mayor told people to come out and protest this shooting:

Portland @MayorKWilson has released a statement about the Border Patrol-involved shooting in Portland. A man and woman reported being shot after fleeing from a scene. A 911 call log shows Border Patrol reported being nearly run over by a pickup truck when they fired rounds. The mayor refers to only the injured as “victims.” He urges Portlanders to “show up with calm and purpose.”

Left-wing rioters and extremists have been gathering outside the apartment building at 148th and Burnside to confront and attack the @PortlandPolice. Portland Police had nothing to do with the DHS-involved shooting. Two people in a pick-up truck were injured by shots after allegedly trying to run over Border Patrol agents.
